the bad news is ... i still don't like my SS3 BOM blocks ... i don't very much like working with templates and i really don't like my fabric selection ... it's been 10 months and i'm no closer to feeling the love... look closely and you might see a heart and stars ... look too closely and you'll see points that didn't quite meet
I think it looks great! You are way to hard on yourself!
ReplyDeleteYou have a good plan.
ReplyDeleteI know we've talked about this before. I always want to do these BOMs to get out of the house, but I rarely like the quilts. I need to have a quilting group where I get out of the house AND am sewing quilts I want.
One of the first quilts I made was for my dad. I made it with wild animal/african prints. I don't know why?! He wasn't into that at all. He never uses the quilt, but because I made it not because he didn't "like" it (at least I don't think so...LOL). I made another child's quilt with some animal skin prints that I'd been collecting and I donated it.
I like it. I think your plan is good. Give it to someone who decorates with animal prints. She'll love it!
ReplyDeleteDid you get my e-mail that I got the package? Thank you so much.
I think your blocks are amazing....I'm not an animal print person but I do like what you've got going on.
ReplyDeleteI can hear the elephants calling. Does that tell you something? Keep on keeping on.
ReplyDeleteOH my I like what you are doing there!!! I think it is looking great!!! My daughter would love such a quilt! 8-)
