Melissa was looking for a way to give new (to her) perennials a way to make it through the drought
she decided to plant them in pink buckets so they can be moved around till she finds the best place for them
this one is a bleeding heart cuz she's a bleeding heart conservative resistance fighter
her watering system is upside down water bottles with drip caps
every morning all five-foot-nuthin of her totes around recycled plastic jugs of gallon after gallon of water and fills those little bottles
speaks words of encouragement to the Green Nation
and promises to do whatever needs doing to help them thrive...
they love her back and gave her this garden flag for Mothers Day...
because
though she be but little, she is fierce

No problem with Mother Nature providing NE OH with water. She needs to spread it out a bit!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink pail! I hope there's drainage holes in the bottom just in case there's a good rain. She wouldn't want them to drown.
ReplyDeleteGood for Melissa! I can sympathise, it's been quite dry here for a few months now.
