I use spray starch sometimes and not others too. Helpful aren't I?? I have taken some classes where the teacher (national teachers too) said they don't press until finished and then press from the top and let the seams go however they like. That's a little too free for me (read control freak over here) but you should do whatever works for you with that particular quilt!Mama Sparkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124372688717255658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441125190998648906.post-18815467101753257262011-04-28T20:26:50.123-06:002011-04-28T20:26:50.123-06:00I'm a presser.....And learned recently [the ha...I'm a presser.....And learned recently [the hard way, of course!] that if you have to work with bias edges you'd better have a can of sizing at the ready. I'm not a big fan of sashing usually, but I love your sashing on this....It helps that I'm partial to blue too!mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03797484583400519909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441125190998648906.post-55524796806137151522011-04-28T12:43:00.727-06:002011-04-28T12:43:00.727-06:00Awesome...blossom! I'm so envious that you've gotten so much done!!

I've been told that just about anything can be quilted out. I'd send you to the entry, but I can't find it...Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08334344363609759815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441125190998648906.post-18332949034589205762011-04-28T09:28:07.371-06:002011-04-28T09:28:07.371-06:00I'm a presser...every seam, but I'm carefu...I'm a presser...every seam, but I'm careful when I press...skills baby, such skills I have...LOL

It is a beautiful quilt...I'm really digging the blue and white Dianne.ranettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17925261347750036721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441125190998648906.post-71044307646326964892011-04-28T09:00:11.964-06:002011-04-28T09:00:11.964-06:00BEAUTIFUL quilt!

It's almost undo-able after the whole top is done!
Last time DD, friend and I paperpieced a project, it got so messy when plucking out the pp paper, that DH came to vacuum WHILE we were still busy sewing, and no one asked him to do so. We were all covered in tiny white pieces and the room looked like it had been snowing indoors....*lol*Annemiekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02891179217078987717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441125190998648906.post-45719289063384709042011-04-27T20:45:27.558-06:002011-04-27T20:45:27.558-06:00Wow!
