bungle in the jungle

remember those jungle BOMs that i whined about for a year? and i said that they were gonna grow up and be a quilt by september? and then i put them together into a flimsy and didn't post about it again?
yeah ... well ... that was in june
on september 26 i gave the completed quilt to my niece...Mrs. Izziesmom and Bungle in the Jungle (and Princess Itty Bitty)
to celebrate our divorce anniversaries ... she likes it ... and it was worth all the whining ... especially since i didn't have to listen to me ... i might even make another jungle quilt someday ... there are still lottsa animal prints in the stash ... i'm just sayin'

  2. That quit's a beauty, personally, I enjoyed all the whining, maybe that's because it came it limited doses. A quilt without drama isn't much of a quilt!

    That's one lucky niece!

  3. You didn't whine all THAT much Dianne :0) Plus I agree with Thelma...a quilt needs a little drama!

It is a great looking quilt and your niece looks thrilled with it!

  4. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday!!!!????
An apron, embroidery scissors, assorted teas, cozy Halloween sock and a CD of OUTLANDER Music. I thought that I had died and gone to heaven! You will never know what an angel you are to me and the difference you made in my life yesterday. There are a few times in my life that something unique has happened to me and it was like a message from above that I am ok and to keep on going. It was that type of experience.

Today I am in the San Diego airport with my son waiting from my mother and sister to arrive from Canada. Long story short we are heading out on a cruise today. I am standing over the trash can at MacDonalds (the only place I can connect to the free san diego airport free wifi. I have been thinking of you and wanted you to know that I received your surprise package and loving everything that you sent. I do not know why you did yet, I appreciate yoru thoughtfulness more then you will ever know.

The only reason I have my laptop with me is so that our son down load his pictures while on the trip ...
This should be fun running after a son with a head injury. I am hoping he does not get so excited and jump off the ship ...

If I can figure out how to get wifi on the ship I will email you.

Sending my love and my thanks for undeserved blessings.

    Hugs
